Ma partenaire

Here's another example of a caricature done by computer, using a slightly different technique:

This is Ana Saiz, my partner in creative crime (among other things), acting crazy as usual. Here she's flying about, because nobody told her people can't do that.

But of course, she's a cordobesa, so who knows what she can and can't do. Scary thing, really.

Caricature of a good friend

These days I'm drawing my caricatures on the computer:

This is Tuulia Merinen, a good and talented friend. Among her many projects, she edits and publishes the Finnish mag Alkorytmi, in which a few of my illustrations appeared last year.

Oh yeah, and she loves ducks (in a good way).

Keep it real, T!

Correction

Sometimes a victim isn't completely satisfied with a piece.

The other day I drew a caricature of a friend as a "thank you" present (on the right). He liked it and hanged it in his office, but has been complaining ever since about the way I depicted his food repository.

I know it was accurate enough for a cartoon, but he finally got on my nerves and I decided to give in.

So, Raúl, here's another likeness.

Now will you stop bugging me about it, you big diva?

Drawing for a special occasion

I just finished a wonderful course on offset printing techniques. It was very instructive and during its three months I got to know a bunch of great fellows, including our teacher, Raúl. Today we played one last soccer game (his team won, as usual, and not because we wanted him to grade us positively). Then he came with us to celebrate and we gave him a farewell present to thank him for the experience, drawn by me, printed with an embossement by my classmate Miguel, framed and signed by all of us. Ah, I'm gonna miss hanging out with those guys. Good people.

Anyway, here's the piece:

He complained about the belly, but liked it none the less.
