(I'd already told some of you by mail... my bad, I promise from now on I'll announce this kind of thing here on the blog, whenever possible. That's what the blog is for, and that way all of you will be in the loop. Anyway, to the point: the results of the contest were announced. Let me tell you about them.)
I entered two of my most recent strips: Matadero and God Complex, which I had published first on this blog. Alas, none of them won the contest. This funny and elegantly colored strip did. Well deserved, I say.
Still, I got selected, and the Alhóndiga guys set up a Flickr album where you can enjoy my entries, as well as the rest of the selected works.
I hope you like them and leave your comments, here or there.
[They also had a public projection of the selected pieces on June 12th, during their "Autoeditados" annual event dedicated to the world of self-published graphic artists and collectives. I couldn't be there, but I'm sure it was good.]
Oh yeah, before I forget...
I'll post some new drawn stuff here soon. In the meantime, if you feel like looking at some pretty pictures arduously developed by the slave gnomes in Noimpo's underground workshop, I remind you that I recently started a project called Titi Throwing Sketches, where I post a new sketch every day of the year, fresh from the oven, so you can see what's going on in my drawing head (if you don't thank me for it, perhaps your psychiatrist will... everyone has to eat, right?).

ResponderEliminarHace poco participé en la competición AlhóndigaKomik K.O. (Komik Online), organizada por AlhóndigaBilbao, una institución cultural del norte de España.
(A algunos de vosotros ya os hablé de esto por email... lo siento, prometo que en adelante anunciaré este tipo de cosas aquí, en el blog, siempre que se pueda... que para eso está y así os enteráis todos. En fin, al grano: los resultados del concurso ya se hicieron públicos. Os lo cuento.)
Participé con dos de mis tiras más recientes: Matadero and God Complex, que ya había publicado en este blog. Pero qué se le va a hacer, ninguna ganó el concurso. Lo ganó esta divertida bonita tira. Bien merecido, en mi opinión.
Aún así fui seleccionado, y los chicos de Alhóndiga montaron un álbum en Flickr donde podéis disfrutar de mis tiras, así como del resto de trabajos seleccionados.
Espero que os gusten y que dejéis vuestros comentarios, aquí o allí.
Ah sí, que no se me olvide...
Dentro de nada colgaré nuevas cosas dibujadas por aquí. Entretanto, si os apetece contemplar nuevos dibujitos desarrollados arduamente por los gnomos esclavos del taller subterráneo de Noimpo, os recuerdo que hace poco estrené otro proyecto llamado Titi Throwing Sketches, donde publico un nuevo boceto cada día del año, recién sacado del horno para que podáis ver lo que pasa por mi cabeza de dibujante (me lo agradeceréis, y si no lo hacéis quizá lo hará vuestro psiquiatra... ¿todos tenemos que comer, no?).

ResponderEliminarAh, sí: Además, los de Alhóndiga hicieron una proyección pública de los trabajos seleccionados el 12 de junio, durante su evento anual "Autoeditados" dedicado al mundillo de los autores y colectivos que editan y publican su propio material gráfico. No pude estar allí, pero seguro que estuvo bien.
